To join our team as an Energy Technician! As an Energy Technician, you will act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Install energy efficient equipment, conduct pre- and post-installation verifications and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. Successful candidates will reside in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for daily travel within the state. For this exciting career opportunity, you’re a great fit if you can… • Conduct installations of residential energy efficiency upgrades • Provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications • Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, regarding installation in accordance with client specifications • Act as local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors; to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers. • Travel throughout a defined territory In this exciting career opportunity, you will have… • 0-1 Years experience in a relative industry • High school or Equivalent Physical Nature of the Job • Work in all climates • Bending, crouching, kneeling, climbing • Use repetitive hand motion • Lift, carry or push up to 40 pounds frequently Type of Work • Ability to work in-person in multiple homes per day (this is not a work-from-home position; you will be in the field servicing customers’ homes) Driving • Are at least 21 years of age • Valid driver's license Target Compensation: $19.00- $21.00/hr This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test andmaintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment. Compensation Range $16.50 - $24.00Currency USDType Hourly Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
