Responsibilities • Draft and prepare legal documents, filings, and client correspondence. • Manage case files and maintain accurate client records. • Conduct research to support case strategies and filings. • Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and answer general case questions. • Coordinate with attorneys to ensure deadlines are met and cases move forward efficiently. • Support attorneys in hearings, meetings, and case preparation. • Handle administrative tasks related to case management and client intake. • Knowledge on Consular Processes. • Comfortable tracking case metrics such as cycle times, RFE response rate, and client satisfaction Qualifications Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred. • Spanish proficiency (advanced level required). • 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal (immigration law experience a plus). • Experience in: Nonimmigrant work visas (H-1B, L-1, TN, E-2, O-1), Employment-based green cards (PERM Labor Certification, I-14), Business immigration petitions and renewals. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, self management and proactive communication. • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously. • Proficiency with legal software, case management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong interpersonal skills for working with attorneys, staff, and clients. • Experience in managing and mentoring legal assistants. • Drafting of legal briefs and legal research experience.
