Position Summary

Defense Holdings, Inc. (DHi) is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Employee Services Coordinator to support HR operations and employee programs. The ideal candidate will manage employee inquiries, coordinate onboarding and offboarding, maintain personnel records, and support benefits and training initiatives.

This role requires excellent communication skills, confidentiality, and the ability to provide high-quality support in a fast-paced government contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities
Employee Support

Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and services.
Coordinate responses to employee questions with professionalism and accuracy.
Assist with employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Onboarding & Offboarding

Coordinate onboarding processes including new hire documentation and orientation.
Assist with offboarding processes including exit interviews and documentation.
Maintain accurate employee records throughout the employment lifecycle.
Benefits & Training Support

Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
Coordinate HR training programs and maintain training records.
Support HR leadership in communication and administration of employee programs.
Compliance & Documentation

Maintain accurate personnel files and HRIS records.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company HR requirements.
Assist with audits and reporting as required.
Process & Program Support

Support continuous improvement of HR processes and services.
Assist in HR initiatives related to workforce engagement and program administration.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in HR, employee services, or administrative support.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
Experience supporting government contracting or defense programs.
Familiarity with benefits administration and employee programs.
Experience in multi-state HR operations.

Work Environment

Professional office environment (or hybrid/remote if applicable).
May require occasional travel.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
