About the position The Employee Relations team acts as a bridge between employees and Sephora with the intent to support the overall employee experience. Through functioning as a neutral resource, the ER team serves to drive consistency and fairness, assess workplace culture, ensure compliance with company policies, investigate employee concerns and provide consultative support on escalated employee issues. The ER team also supports all employees with mediation, dispute resolution, and recommends strategies to consistently improve upon the employee experience at Sephora. Your role at Sephora involves reporting into an Employee Relations Manager. The ER Generalist, Retail is responsible for conducting investigations, handling workplace disputes, and providing subject matter expertise for employee concerns in 2 Retail Regions. Additionally, the ER Generalist Retail will stay current on employment laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of investigations and processes. Responsibilities • Conduct confidential investigations related to workplace complaints and recommend appropriate actions. • Serve as primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution. Make recommendations and provide guidance with respect to these employment matters. • Analyze data and collaborate with key partners to identify solutions for recurring themes or issues. • Support internal projects/initiatives as needed. Requirements • 3+ years experience in ER, HR or related field (including retail leadership) • 2+ years experience handling workplace investigations • 3+ years experience with employee conduct and performance management • Strong written and verbal communication • Skilled in Problem-solving, mediation and conflict resolution • Interpersonal and relationship building strength Apply tot his job
