How you'll play: The Email Operations, Assistant Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing the deployment of Hanna’s retention programs, such as email and SMS. This position will support strategy and manage all aspects of email marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, flexible and adaptable to change, has a passion for problem-solving with an ever-curious mindset, and is able to work quickly and hit deadlines. As a key collaborator, you are comfortable with working cross-functionally with a variety of different teams. • Support strategy and oversee all aspects of email marketing campaigns including email development and campaign execution, and post campaign analysis. • Coordinate pre-production, campaign set up, and audience set up between email strategy and email production teams • QA all emails, ensuring correct creative, linking, and tracking • Execute deployment of email campaigns and automations • Monitor email list health and instill best practices for list hygiene • Contribute to optimizing cross-functional processes between the retention team and stakeholders across the business • Analyze and identify opportunities to optimize programs and support the business’s KPIs • Collaborate and manage the testing infrastructure to support the retention team’s quarterly testing roadmap • Monitor email deliverability and work with IS teams and deliverability partners to resolve issues quickly • Work cross-functionally with Creative, Customer Service, Development, Site, and Analytics teams for testing and execution of campaigns. This listed base salary range is a good faith representation of the base salary range for this position. However, location, unique skills and/or exceptional experience may result in an offer outside of the stated range. What you'll bring: • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment • Exceptional attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize projects effectively to meet deadlines • Ability to champion ideas and execute in an expedited timeframe • Prior experience working with an email service provider preferred • SMS experience a plus • Familiarity with CDPs or other segmentation tools is a plus • Proficiency in HTML & CSS preferred • 2 years of relevant experience, preferably within an eCommerce environment • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute methodically • Strong verbal and written communications skills • Understanding of current trends and strategies in omni-channel marketing • Understanding of email best practices, as well as fa strong knowledge of CAN-SPAM, CCPA, and GDPR • Familiarity with analytical tools • Preference will be given to those with strong analytic and quantitative skills who are able to interpret KPIs and make program recommendations.
