Email Marketing Specialist-Hush Puppies-REMOTE - Designer Brands - Columbus, OH - work from home job Company: Designer Brands Job description: EMAIL MARKETING SPECIALIST Hush Puppies General Summary: The Email Specialist is responsible for driving email and SMS initiatives. This position is responsible for assisting with campaign management and execution, calendar and asset planning, list integrity, growth, and segmentation, deliverability health, A/B testing and personalization. This role is responsible for supporting all aspects of email and SMS channels with a goal of driving conversion, loyalty, retention, engagement and revenue. The Specialist should have a passion for crafting user journeys, an interest in analytics, and a desire to build innovative marketing campaigns that drive engagement and growth. Reports to: Email Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Support the development of email and SMS messaging taking inputs from ecommerce, merch and brand marketing. • Execute email production from end to end including development, QA, deployment. • Ideate and participate in email marketing planning, strategy, and timelines. • Support SMS strategy and manage end-to-end production • Communicate with other departments to manage the email submission process and SMS campaigns. • Create and segment custom lists for email deployment • Track and analyze campaign metrics to produce ongoing analytical reports and as needed • Coordinate with the digital marketing team to maintain the email marketing calendar and ensure email communications are delivered as planned • Create test & learn agendas focused towards improving clicks, conversion & demand. • Establish best practices and coordinate appropriately with other digital/marketing partners. • Execute efforts related to segmentation, communication, and execution across email, SMS and direct mail • Responsible for contributing to monthly digital hindsight’s including key insights on wins and opportunities; ensure information is shared out to appropriate partners to impact future strategy • Participate and support the Manager and Director to build roadmaps and test plans leveraging best practices. • Drive innovative thinking pertaining to new technology and initiatives and retail environment trends. • Build best practices and playbooks in partnership with segmentation team to ensure consistent processes are built across entire digital team. • Liaison with external vendors in a professional and timely manner • Communicate status of all emails/SMS to key partners • Support team with ad-hoc requests as needed • Serve as subject matter expert for email campaigns and make connections across teams to ensure learning’s are being applied across the team.
