Email Copywriter (Health and Wellness-Focused | Story-Driven)
Hi, we’re hiring a freelance Email Copywriter to help us build trust, tell great stories, and educate our growing audience around GLP-1 medications and wellness.
If you’re a strong writer who lives and breathes health, wellness, or weight loss, and especially if you’ve worked with GLP-1 users before, we want to hear from you.
Most people on our email list are on GLP-1s or are considering it. We want to educate people not only on how to maximize their GLP-1 journey, but also teach them how to transition away from it.
GLP-1s are a good stepping stone, in our eyes, but they aren't the cure. We want to educate people and teach them how to improve their lives for the long-haul so they can drop the weight, the medication, and keep it off.
The Role
We're looking for someone to own our weekly newsletter, which includes:
- Writing one high-quality email per week following our “Expert-style” newsletter format (inspired by Dan Go and Arnold’s Pump Club)
- Occasionally writing direct-response style sales emails (1–2 times/month) using copywriting frameworks like PAS, AIDA, and BAB
- Collaborating on monthly email topics (we’ll often provide direction)
- Telling compelling stories around health, behavior change, and personal transformation
- Meeting clear deadlines and being responsive to editor feedback
- You’ll write in Google Docs, and our team handles editing and publishing emails in Kit
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Clear, concise writing with a strong voice
- Ability to write story-driven, trustworthy health content
- Understanding of copywriting frameworks and customer awareness stages
- Background and professional in wellness, health, or weight loss
- BONUS: Experience working with GLP-1 medications, either personally or professionally
- Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating on copy
- No pure AI-written content allowed. We expect thoughtful, human-first writing (AI assistance is fine)
⏰ Time & Pay
- Part-time, remote
- One email per week (potential to grow)
- Flexible hours — just meet deadlines (we send the newsletter every Wednesday and want you to complete the issue a week before sending)
Preferred: Fixed price model i.e. flat rate per newsletter
