About the position

Responsibilities
Provide in-person and same-day service to incarcerated individuals applying for or recertifying benefits.

Process cases with a high level of independence, productivity, and quality.

Provide coverage at other Neighborhood Resource Sites as needed.

Rotate through designated locations, including Denver Jails and DHS locations.

Attend de-escalation and mental health first aid trainings.

Participate in quarterly group supervision and training refreshers.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.

Three years of experience determining eligibility for public assistance programs.

Technical proficiency and willingness to learn new technology or software.
,
Ability to troubleshoot cases and navigate through CBMS.
,
Proven record of professionalism and consistency in delivering on the mission of the Family and Adult Assistance Division.

Ability to remain calm and composed when dealing with challenging clients.

Sensitivity to cultural diversity and individual differences.
