Elementary Discipline Center Moderator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Elementary Discipline Center Moderator to join our team at East Baton Rouge Parish School System. As a Moderator, you will play a critical role in providing academic and behavioral support to students, improving student success, and fostering a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:
Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in an intervention room setting
Assist students with academic/learning processes, track assignments, and record attendance
Supervise individuals and groups of students in various settings to maintain a safe and positive learning environment
Respond to inquiries from students, instructors, administrators, and parents
Maintain accurate student records and behavior reports
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to ensure student success
Requirements:
High School Diploma required; 48 college hours or Parapro Exam score of 450 or higher preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups and individuals
Proficient in student management and relationship building
Experience working in leadership positions a plus
