Install, maintain, and repair switch heaters and associated electrical equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on switch heaters to ensure proper functioning.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues with switch heaters and other railway equipment.
Comply with all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance and repairs.
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on switch heaters and other equipment.
Stay up-to-date on industry standards and advancements in technology related to switch heaters.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to report any issues or concerns.
Follow all company policies and procedures related to electrical work and safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
Participate in training and development programs to enhance electrical skills and knowledge.
Be available for on-call and emergency maintenance and repair work as needed.
Adhere to strict deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient operation of switch heaters.
