In this role you will take charge of developing and implementing innovative test strategies, tackling intricate hardware issues head-on, and devising ingenious solutions. What You’ll Do: Embark on a satisfying journey through the realm of electrical engineering, where innovation and cutting-edge technology converge. Dive deep into the intricacies of electrical architectures, schematics, and layouts and drive to an understanding of how our products perform in the field and how we can steadily improve that performance. Collaborate closely with our support and engineering teams to unlock the secrets behind field failures, immersing yourself in the dynamic challenges of asset trackers, vehicle gateways, cameras, and IoT devices. Together, we'll drive to the highest possible quality and highest levels of customer satisfaction with our products. Seize the reins and shape the future with your expertise, crafting electrical test plans and strategies tailored to the unique demands of our diverse product line. Dig into data and drive test approaches that foster continuous improvements in our products. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. Passionate about hands on experience and desire to work directly with electronic systems 3-5 years of experience as a hardware engineer Coursework in digital electronics, circuit design and system analysis Demonstrated domain knowledge in electronics development and debug Experience testing wireless technologies such as WIFI, BT, GPS, etc. Experience with digital circuit design and various communications interfaces such as I2C, UART, SPI, USB, MIPI, I2S, DDR, eMMC, NAND flash etc. Experience with debug and failure analysis is a significant plus Experience with cameras, batteries, and other sensors is a plus Experience within the automotive industry is a plus Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is one of Motive's core values.
