Job DescriptionElectrical Estimator - Remote (Dallas/Fort Worth Area) Gpac is a national executive search firm specializing in recruitment for the electrical construction industry. We have been retained by a reputable electrical contractor to find an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their growing team. Location: This position is remote for candidates based in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area, with monthly in-office visits to Texarkana. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary based on experience Bonus potential Health insurance package 401(k) Paid vacation Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required estimate details Estimate electrical work for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects Attend pre-bid meetings and job site walkthroughs to verify project requirements Perform complete take-offs for electrical scope of work Maintain detailed estimate documentation, including supplier pricing and historical cost data Support other departments as needed, including assisting with estimates in related disciplines Analyze design options and recommend cost-effective solutions Interface with clients on bid-walks and provide estimating support to field operations Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership Qualifications: 3+ years of estimating experience with an electrical contractor Experience with Accubid, McCormick, or Conest estimating software Strong knowledge of electrical installations, estimating techniques, and cost control Ability to interpret computerized cost data and estimating systems Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines Stable work history Previous management or supervisory experience is a plus All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
