Electrical BIM Specialist (VDC)
About the Role: We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented BIM professionals to serve as design reviewers for an upcoming remote project. In this role, you will be reviewing completed CAD and BIM files to identify inconsistencies, flag design issues, and provide general QA/QC input. This is not a modeling or coordination role—you will be double-checking existing designs for constructability and quality. This is a fully remote opportunity with flexible working hours and the ability to start quickly. Key Responsibilities: • Review existing AutoCAD and Revit models for accuracy and viability • Identify potential errors, conflicts, or missing information • Make notes, markups, or callouts based on findings • Collaborate with the internal project team via Zoom/Teams as needed • Provide input on constructability, scale, and layout conflicts • Ensure documentation is clean and clearly communicated Requirements: • 2+ years of experience in CAD or BIM design, drafting, or QA/QC • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot drawing issues • Comfortable working independently and communicating remotely • Reliable internet access and ability to join remote meetings Nice to Have: • Experience with MEP or architectural systems • Prior experience reviewing or redlining design documents • Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
