Electrical Apprentice
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to assist in basic electrical construction tasks on a commercial electrical construction project. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of electrical systems, safety practices, and construction site protocols. This role is well-suited for those looking to gain experience in the electrical construction field.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial or industrial settings.
ā¢ Support electricians in laying wiring, mounting electrical panels, and connecting devices.
ā¢ Run and pull electrical cables and conduit as instructed.
ā¢ Maintain work area cleanliness and organization, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
ā¢ Carry and handle tools, materials, and equipment required for electrical tasks.
ā¢ Perform basic troubleshooting and testing of electrical systems under supervision.
ā¢ Follow safety guidelines to prevent electrical hazards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
ā¢ Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues.
ā¢ Support the team with other general construction duties as needed.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and construction tools.
ā¢ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
ā¢ Previous experience in construction or electrical work is a plus but not required.
ā¢ Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in physically demanding environments (standing, climbing ladders, etc.).
ā¢ Willingness to adhere to strict safety standards and practices.
ā¢ Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
