ELECTRIC VEHILCE SALES MANAGER / GERMANY / REMOTE / COMPETITIVE PAY PLUS COMMISSION / GREAT BENEFITS About the Team / Role WEX is looking for a dynamic and results-driven European EV Sales Manager to put us on the path to success as our customers seek to electrify their fleets. Working alongside our Business Development & Product teams, your role will be vital in selling directly to fleet managers who are electrifying, and bringing new product revenue into WEX. Together with your existing knowledge of fleet and European EV, you will rapidly develop a deep understanding of WEX’s European EV products and Mixed-Fleet (fuel + EV) Strategy. You will use this to make direct sales to new and existing customers. Starting with our under-pinning Public Charging (eMSP) product, over time you will develop into selling more complex propositions associated with EV charging, such as smart charging and flexibility trading. Our core markets are BeNeLux, France, UK & Italy. Ideally for this role we are seeking a German-speaking candidate to help unlock the large German market. However, exceptional candidates who do not speak German are also encouraged to apply.What’s on offer?Highly competitive salary (dependent on experience and location)Competitive Commission Scheme40-hour working week - Monday to Friday, no evenings or weekendsRemote WorkingSupplementary PensionEmployee wellbeing platformsHow You’ll Make An ImpactProspect and qualify diverse fleets (small to large).Be self-sufficient in developing market intelligence, managing pipelines, hunting RFQs and discovering opportunities.Present EV business models, features, and advantages tailored to fleets.Negotiate deals and manage contracts adhering to country-specific regulations.Build and maintain strong, long-term fleet customer relationships.Understand country-specific fleet regulations, incentives, and market landscape.Communicate effectively in local language and navigate local business culture.Report sales activities and stay updated on EV trends.Collaborate internally to ensure excellent customer experience.Experience You’ll BringPrevious proven experience of working in the European EV ecosystem, and a clear understanding of MSPs, CPOs, CPMS, Hubs etc. Knowledge in charging hardware and technology and protocols (OCPP, OCPI, ISO 15-1118…) will be a plus.Fleet industry-related experience, knowledge in fleet management concepts (i.e. TCO) and tools is a plus.Background in sales and enjoy working in a results-driven environmentPossess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.Are detail-oriented and have a strong commitment to accuracy.Are proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.Ability to work cross-functionally across a large matrixed organization Excellent communication and attention to detailFluent German and English-language.
