Position Description

Overview

Enhesa is growing our Regulatory Intelligence team and is looking to add a high-energy individual who will support our regulatory research and services team. This position is based in the US and will have responsibility for Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) Regulatory and Support Services for various jurisdictions globally. The candidate must be able to work as part of a dynamic team and provide the following: understanding of legislative process in an assigned jurisdiction; research and monitoring of in-country legal issues, laws, and regulations; and management and support of original EHS compliance content.

Requirements
β€’ LL.B., International equivalent
β€’ 3+ years relevant research experience
β€’ Working knowledge of Environmental, Health, & Safety topics.
β€’ Experience with international legislation.
β€’ Experience working remotely (Preferred).
β€’ Fluent in English and Spanish required. Portuguese Preferred
β€’ The following language skills considered: French, Dutch, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Vietnamese, Thai, or Indonesian

Key Responsibilities

International Legal Research, Analysis, and Content Development:
β€’ Understand the legal and regulatory system and processes in assigned jurisdictions, including the hierarchy of laws and official publications
β€’ Research legislative, regulatory, and other legal developments
β€’ Report, update, and maintain legal content
β€’ Draft and edit regulatory content based on EHS laws and regulations for assigned jurisdictions
β€’ Monitor official publications of proposed and final legislation within defined EHS topic areas for assigned countries and stay abreast of emerging regulatory landscape
β€’ Provide research on regulatory trends across the globe for presentations
β€’ Develop Summaries and Business Impact Analysis of EHS laws and regulations
β€’ Review and revise content rendered as print or electronic products for completeness and accuracy
β€’ Demonstrate competence in online research tools

Editorial Responsibility:
β€’ Meet editorial publishing schedules and quality standards
β€’ Adhere to our editorial style and formatting guides
β€’ Follow internal processes for authoring and content management
β€’ Verify own work and that of other staff as required for accuracy and completeness, and ensure that the information is properly presented and organized
β€’ Maintain and develop legal knowledge and skills training as required to complete work and stay current on legal trends and developments related to the position

Individual and Leadership Development:
β€’ Attend and participate in meetings as requested/required
β€’ Develop knowledge of our publications and products, and those of our competitors
β€’ Prioritize own work and meet stringent deadlines
β€’ Understand the roles and responsibilities of each team member. as well as members of other teams within Enhesa to recognize how each role affects production
β€’ Demonstrate competence on company-specific systems necessary to perform job functions

Knowledge and Skills:
β€’ International Experience
β€’ Excellent legal research and writing skills
β€’ Specialization in Health and Safety and/or Environmental Law with knowledge of issues in relevant regulatory topics internationally
β€’ Fluent in English and Spanish required. Portuguese preferred.
β€’ Highly Organized
β€’ Exceptional editorial judgment and attention to detail
β€’ Familiarity with word processing and web-based applications, especially Google Suite applications
β€’ Motivated, self-starter with the discipline to work independently and without supervision
β€’ Ability to interpret, analyze, organize, and communicate complex regulatory issues clearly and succinctly
β€’ Ability to learn and become proficient in editorial production processes and other internal systems
β€’ Ability to use electronic resources and tools to effectively perform the job
β€’ Ability to manage diverse workload and adapt to changing priorities
β€’ Ability to prioritize tasks and projects and to move smoothly and efficiently from one activity to another
β€’ Ability to work successfully in a team environment, including virtual collaboration
β€’ Ability to communicate and effectively interact with Team Manager in virtual environment: To complete all necessary training; To successfully perform assigned tasks; To review work and receive feedback.

Schedule:
β€’ 8-hour shift
β€’ Monday to Friday

Experience:
β€’ Writing Skills: 1 year (Preferred)
β€’ Legal Research: 3 years (Preferred)

Salary Range

$45,000 - $50,000 USD
