We are seeking an EHS/Facilities Manager to join our GrayMatter team. This position is responsible for overseeing the environmental, health, and safety programs and facility management operations for the organization. This role ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, maintains a safe and healthy work environment, and ensures the facilities are well-maintained and operating efficiently all while promoting a positive safety culture. This position is remote. General Job Duties: EHS Management: β€’ Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. β€’ Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure a safe working environment. β€’ Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. β€’ Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees. β€’ Manage hazardous waste disposal and environmental compliance programs. β€’ Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training. β€’ Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies (e.g., OSHA, EPA). β€’ Manage worker's compensation claims and return-to-work programs. β€’ Lead and participate in safety committees. β€’ Develop and implement emergency preparedness and response plans. β€’ Oversee contractor EHS compliance. Facility Management: β€’ Manage the physical infrastructure of the facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations. β€’ Oversee utilities management (HVAC, electrical, plumbing). β€’ Manage building systems (fire alarms, security, access control). β€’ Plan and execute capital improvement projects. β€’ Manage relationships with contractors and vendors. β€’ Ensure the facility meets all applicable building codes and regulations. β€’ Plan and manage facility upgrades, renovations, and expansions. β€’ Coordinate facility security and emergency response plans. β€’ Manage space allocation and utilization. β€’ Ensure the facility is safe, comfortable, and efficient for all occupants. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Needed: β€’ Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, Facilities Management, or a related field. β€’ 5+ years of experience in EHS management and/or facility management. β€’ Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and facility management best practices. β€’ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. β€’ Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks. β€’ Experience with budget management and cost control. β€’ Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite. β€’ Certifications such as CSP, CSHM, or FMP are a plus. The target annual base compensation for this position is $95,000–$125,000, based upon location, relevant qualifications and experience.
