An opportunity is available for a licensed Audiologist to provide specialized audiology services within a K-12 public school district in Virginia. This contract position runs through the current school year (CSY), starting ASAP and ending June 16, 2026. The role involves working directly on-site with students across multiple schools in the district, providing critical hearing assessments and support for the student population. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct hearing evaluations and screenings for K-12 students across several school locations. • Develop and implement an audiology program to replace previous contracted services. • Travel between schools within the district to provide itinerant support. • Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and other professionals to enhance student hearing health and access to classroom learning. Qualifications: • Doctorate (PhD) in Audiology required. • Active and valid Audiologist license in the state. • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred. • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. • Commitment to on-site presence; this is not a remote or hybrid role. Location: • Chesapeake, Virginia – schools within the local public school district. Work Schedule: • Full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
