We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Educational Aid to support the educational activities at Pierce Terrace Elementary School, Fort Jackson, South Carolina. As an Educational Aid, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to teachers and students, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Distribute and collect testing materials as needed by students
Grade and provide testing results using identified scoring techniques
Monitor students during various phases of the school day
Prepare instructional materials related to classroom lessons
Provide tutoring to students in all subject areas
Accompany and supervise students on field trips
Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship required
2 years (60 semester hours) of education above high school or 1 year of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work experience
Ability to acquire knowledge and skills needed to perform duties of an Educational Aid
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement
Direct deposit of pay is required
Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation
Benefits:
Competitive salary: $15.21 - $26.06 per hour
Comprehensive benefits package, including access to federal employee benefits
Part-time position, 70 hours per bi-weekly pay period
