Project Manager – Academic Allies (Part-Time or Full-Time) Remote (U.S.-based preferred, must be available 4–9 PM EST on weekdays & weekend mornings) About Us: Academic Allies is a dynamic and growing tutoring company dedicated to providing personalized, high-impact academic support to students of all ages. As we scale, we're looking for an organized, people-first Project Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional client experiences. Position Overview: The Project Manager will oversee coordination between our team of tutors, clients, and internal systems. You’ll ensure students are matched with the right tutors, sessions are scheduled effectively, and communication flows smoothly. This role requires regular evening availability (4–9 PM EST, Monday–Friday), when most tutoring sessions and parent communications take place. Key Responsibilities: Tutor Coordination & Scheduling • Match students with appropriate tutors based on subject, availability, and fit • Maintain and update tutor schedules using scheduling software (Google Calendar, Acuity, or similar) • Monitor session delivery and follow-up to ensure consistency and quality • Serve as the go-to resource for tutor questions and logistics Client Communication & Support • Occasionally communicate with parents/guardians to clarify scheduling, gather feedback, or resolve minor issues • Support the onboarding of new clients and walk them through the process • Ensure client satisfaction and retention by being proactive and responsive Operations & Administration • Track session completion and ensure timely session reporting • Help manage calendar tools, internal spreadsheets, and communication systems • Support invoice preparation or cross-checking hours for billing (with the finance team) • Identify and suggest ways to streamline workflows and improve systems Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week Work Location: Remote
