Editorial Visual Designer (Photoshop-Based | No Canva / No Templates)

Job Description We are seeking a skilled production-level designer to support the completion of visual assets for a fashion model’s website and digital presence. This role is not about creating designs from scratch or using templates. The creative direction, concepts, and core visuals already exist. We need someone who can refine, elevate, and finish high-quality imagery with a strong sense of editorial composition, balance, and hierarchy. You will be working closely with the creative director to polish images, prepare web-ready assets, and help bring partially developed visuals to a finished, cohesive state.WhatThis Role Is (and Is Not)This role IS: • Photoshop-first production and refinement work • Editorial / fashion-aware visual judgment • Enhancing existing designs without changing their intent • Supporting a defined creative vision • Preparing assets for web and digital useThis role is NOT: • Canva-based design • Template-driven work • Social media graphics or “content creation” • Logo design or branding strategy • Trend-driven or “viral” designKey Responsibilities • Refine and polish existing images and layouts • Improve visual balance, depth, and hierarchy • Prepare clean, web-ready visual assets • Collaborate with the creative director to maintain a consistent aesthetic • Work within an established visual direction rather than redesigning concepts.Required Skills & Experience • Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop • Demonstrated experience with editorial or fashion-oriented visuals • Ability to follow creative direction precisely • Understanding of image composition, contrast, and visual flow • Comfort working with partially completed assets and finishing them professionally Important Notes • We are a custom design agency. Template-based or Canva-centric workflows are not a fit for this role. • Use of professional assets is acceptable when they are significantly reworked and customized.• Final work should never look like a recognizable template. Portfolio Requirements Please include: • Samples showing editorial, fashion, or image-focused work • Examples where you refined or elevated an existing design (not only original concepts) Screening Question (Required) Describe how you typically refine an image that already has a strong concept but needs better balance, polish, or hierarchy.
