Economic Policy Research Analyst

We are helping our client to find the best candidates who could provide analysis and forecasting to the global investment community. Our client delivers actionable and timely research regarding the investment implications of legislative, regulatory, political, and legal developments. The policy research analyst will support our client in researching federal and state policy issues across sectors and topics, such as energy, defense, technology, trade, immigration, and elections. The analyst will track legislative and regulatory activity and respond to client's research requests. Compensation and title negotiable based on experience. This role offers hybrid/remote flexibility, but strong preference for candidates in the Washington, DC area. Key Responsibilities • Analyze policy issues and themes emanating from federal and state government that present actionable investment opportunities • Support the research processes of sector-specific and special situations and ensure timely and concise research reports on various topics • Connect policy risks and opportunities • Identify speakers for conference calls and events, and support execution of calls and events • Support the editorial team in reviewing and publishing research, as necessary • Assist due diligence research projects on tight deadlines Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise • Bachelor’s degree plus at least 5 years of relevant work experience • Experience analyzing and writing on public policy or legal topics • Ability to communicate complex information effectively in writing and in person • Prior work experience in research, government, advocacy, or similar roles • Knowledge of or interest in the global issues • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within our team environment Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay: $44,341.11 - $69,529.08 per year Benefits: • Employee assistance program • Flexible schedule People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
