About the position The E-Commerce Project Manager will play a crucial role in driving digital initiatives for a global leader in outdoor and sports retail. This position focuses on project coordination, strategy execution, and process optimization to ensure seamless project execution and effective go-to-market strategies. Responsibilities • Produce and manage timelines, schedules, and project plans to meet changing priorities and deadlines. • Monitor weekly or monthly project status, adjusting resources or timelines as needed. • Lead seasonal go-to-market milestones and key inputs or touchpoints. • Evolve and execute go-to-market strategies and e-commerce campaigns, identifying potential actions and efficiencies. • Assess and communicate project feasibility, identifying alternative solutions when necessary. • Manage content production for special events and short-lead projects, ensuring cross-functional coordination and communication. • Take ownership of cross-functional processes, ensuring efficient and effective project execution. • Identify and implement process changes as needed. • Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements • 5-8 years of production or project management experience, with association to consumer-based online retail. • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. • Thorough understanding of e-commerce processes and business models. • Ability to handle high-volume workloads in a dynamic environment. • Knowledge of creative workflow processes, CMS (AEM or similar), and project management software (JIRA or similar). • Strategic and tactical thinking abilities. • Strong collaborative skills to establish cross-functional relationships.
