Job description: Overview:The eCommerce Content & Site Experience Manager is responsible for leading the planning, briefing, and execution of all site content, as well as identifying site experience optimizations that support the eCommerce business objectives. This role will also contribute to and influence content strategy, testing, and personalization efforts, where using data-driven results to inform decision making, is a must. This position helps drive efficiencies and identifies opportunities and solutions to deliver an outstanding experience for The Container Store customer. The role will collaborate with cross functional partners including Site Merchandising, Creative, Marketing, Product, and Technology.The right candidate will be analytical, entrepreneurial, action oriented and able to get results. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. The focus of this role is on enhancing and optimizing the content and site experience on containerstore.com. Balances both a creative and business mindset when making decisions and driving the business toward growth
Constantly seeking to improve customer engagement and conversion through site content and the customer journey – always leading with a customer centric approach
Elevates digital storytelling to attract, convert and retain customers
Creates and owns the site content calendar to align with key product categories and collections, marketing campaigns, launches and promotions
Creates, submits, and oversees creative briefs, Workfront jobs and any changes due to evolving business needs
Sets up site banners, landing pages, promotional content, and other site content with appropriate go-live dates in content management system
QA reviews and signs off on all site content; manages any required changes
Partners with Data Analytics to establish content performance tracking and goals to measure success
Evaluates content performance data and shares KPIs with leadership
Uses data to develop future direction and strategy
Identifies opportunities to AB test both digital content and site functionality and has a strong understanding of testing fundamentals
Supports personalization of content across the purchase path to enhance the shopping experience
Can identify and execute SEO related tasks to improve channel traffic, revenue, conversion and searchability
Understands competitive landscape for both direct and indirect competitors

Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years of work experience in ecommerce, merchandising or related field
Based in Dallas/Ft. Worth area and able to work in a hybrid office model
Ability to “get things done” and resourceful in approach
Passionate about the customer experience and how we can operationally improve to deliver an outstanding digital experience
Strong partnership skills
Strong analytical, technical, and business process skills
Familiar with HTML and basic understanding of technical solutions
Knowledge of a DTC ecom business and passion for following industry trends
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional manner, both orally and in writing, at all levels within and outside the organization
Ability to quickly separate the mission-critical tasks from the lower priority tasks; focuses on the most value-added projects of the day or week
Flexible and agile, with a positive attitude and passion for knowledge
Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once
