ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer (US Citizenship REQUIRED)
TITLE: ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer (US Citizenship REQUIRED) RATE RANGE: $45/hr - $55/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract) DURATION: 12+ months CLEARANCE: Active Secret security clearance preferred-must be able to obtain TELECOMMUTE: This position can be onsite, hybrid or fully remote. LOCATION: McLeansville NC 27301 • **No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099-US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED*** POSITION DESCRIPTION As an ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer for Undersea Systems, you'll support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems. REQUIRED SKILLS A minimum of two years' experience using Mentor Graphics Xpedition. Experience with library management practices. Experience with ECAD/PCB layout design processes. Knowledge of one or more PCB design tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM, Xpedition. DXdatabook, BoardStation, Hyperlynx),or Altium Experience with library management practices including Xpedition parts request system, Footprint Expert Enterprise 23, 3D model creation using Solidworks NX or CREO, and Hyperlynx. Circuit design and hands on prototyping experience. Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards. In depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques. Ability to communicate with suppliers when asked to provide clarification on design documentation packages. Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition is valuable. Documentation capture including (bill of material parts lists, ODB++ digital fabrication packages, 3D model generation) EDUCATION REQUIRED Associate's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
