eBilling Specialist
Overview
We are looking for an eBilling Specialist to join our Outsid Counsel Management Team.
Responsibilities
• Review and accept law firm invoices based on attorney time entries and associated expenses.
• Ensure invoices align with guidelines, including proper coding and formatting requirements.
• Operate electronic billing (e-billing) platforms, such as Onit.
• Monitor and track budgets and invoices, including those under fixed fees and billable hours.
• Generate detailed billing reports for attorneys and management to support decision-making.
• Address rejected invoices or billing disputes by directly liaising with law firms and attorneys.
• Track outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue invoices to ensure timely payments.
• Understand client billing agreements, including discounts, capped fee caps, and alternative fee structures.
• Organize and maintain accurate billing records and documentation for future reference.
