Job Summary: Key Responsibilities and Expectations As an Early Morning Stock Associate , you will be responsible for ensuring our customers have a positive shopping experience. Your primary focus will be on receiving and stocking merchandise, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and providing excellent customer service. Essential Functions: Receives and stocks merchandise in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that the sales floor is well-merchandised and visually appealing. Maintains a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas. Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and responding to customer needs in a friendly and professional manner. Works collaboratively with other store team members to achieve sales goals, maintain a positive store environment, and ensure that customer needs are met. Operates store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs, as required. Performs daily assigned tasks, such as sizing and recovery, to ensure that the store is well-maintained and efficiently merchandised. Maintains a high level of awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment for everyone. Follows all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling, customer service, and loss prevention. Qualifications and Special Skills Required: To be successful in this role, you will need: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, associates, and store leadership. Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to perform calculations commonly used in retail environments. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm. Physical stamina to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store. Ability to regularly bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop. Ability to occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds.
