Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement daily curriculum according to developmentally appropriate practices and responsive caregiving principles
Develop and implement emergent and project-based curriculum, assessing and documenting child progress
Mentor and supervise early childhood preservice teachers, student employees, and other staff members
Establish and maintain meaningful partnerships with children, families, colleagues, university faculty and staff, and the community
Collaborate with university researchers to support the production of new knowledge in the field of early childhood care and education

Requirements:
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Two years of early childhood education experience
Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment)
Knowledge of child growth and development, learning theories, and effective learning environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work cooperatively with others in a fast-paced environment
