Job Summary:
The EAP Consultant will perform clinical telephonic assessments and consultations, deliver comprehensive referrals, and ensure diligent follow-up for managers, employees, and their family members covered by the Employee Assistance Program. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and urgent clinical risk assessments, offering expert consultations, short-term issue resolution, and comprehensive referral services
Provide management consultation services to various levels of management and human resources, demonstrating proficiency in assessing workplace issues and devising suitable action plans
Stay updated on issues affecting customers from both legislative and customer-specific standpoints, displaying a comprehensive understanding of the organization's customer base
Engage in additional assigned duties to support internal and external customers in achieving the EAP department's goals
Work Schedule Options:
Overnights: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Eastern, Monday - Friday on a rotating schedule, totaling 80 hours over a two-week pay period
Days: Noon - 8:30 PM Eastern, Monday - Friday, including rotating weekends, totaling 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
3+ years of experience in the mental health field, with a focus on assessment and treatment of mental illness and substance abuse
Knowledge of confidentiality laws and their exceptions
Clinical skills to perform risk assessments and develop action plans
Strong customer service skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Independent license
Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP)
EAP experience (2+ years preferred)
Call center experience
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and remain calm in a crisis
