About the Role We are seeking an Interim Dynamics 365 Implementation Consultant to support ERP transformations and financial system implementations for clients in the DFW, Houston, or Austin metro areas. In this role, you will lead end-to-end Dynamics 365 implementations, optimize financial workflows, and integrate business systems to enhance efficiency and data visibility. This interim role provides the opportunity to make an immediate impact, helping businesses navigate financial system upgrades, process automation, and ERP integration. Key Responsibilities • Lead Dynamics 365 Implementations - Manage the full lifecycle of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP deployments, including configuration, customization, data migration, and system integration. • Finance & Accounting Process Optimization - Align Dynamics 365 functionality with best-in-class financial processes, including GL, AP, AR, revenue recognition, and financial reporting. • ERP System Integration & Customization - Ensure seamless integration of Dynamics 365 with third-party applications (CRM, BI tools, payroll, and financial reporting systems). • Data Migration & Cleansing - Oversee data mapping, validation, and migration strategies to ensure accurate financial records. • User Training & Change Management - Develop and deliver training programs for finance and accounting teams to enhance adoption and system utilization. • Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement - Identify and resolve implementation challenges, ensuring Dynamics 365 is optimized for scalability, automation, and performance. • M&A & Financial System Consolidation - Support post-acquisition ERP integrations, streamlining financial processes across multiple business units. Ideal Candidate Profile • 10+ years of experience in ERP implementations, finance transformation, or financial systems consulting. • Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation, configuration, and optimization. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP compliance, and financial reporting best practices. • Hands-on experience integrating Dynamics 365 with CRM, BI tools, payroll, and other enterprise applications. • Experience working with private equity-backed companies, fast-growing businesses, or M&A integration projects. • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and drive adoption of new financial systems. • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (Finance & Operations, Business Central, or other relevant specializations) preferred but not required.
