Key Responsibilities

Aircraft Marshalling & Positioning: Safely guide aircraft on and off the ramp, ensuring precise alignment with gates, jetways, and tow vehicles.
Luggage & Cargo Handling: Load, unload, tag, and transport passenger baggage, freighter cargo, and mail, adhering to documented procedures and safety standards.
Ground Equipment Operation: Operate belt loaders, push‑back tractors, lift trucks, de‑icers, and other ground support equipment with competence and care.
Safety & Compliance: Conduct pre‑flight safety checks, monitor runway activity, and report any hazards or irregularities promptly.
Customer Interaction: Provide courteous assistance to passengers, freight agents, and airport staff, embodying arenaflex’s commitment to service excellence.
Documentation & Reporting: Complete cargo loading slips, equipment logs, and incident reports accurately, both electronically and on paper.
Aircraft Cabin Preparation: Perform interior cleaning, restocking of supplies, waste management, and minor cabin upkeep between flights.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with gate agents, flight crew, maintenance personnel, and other ground‑crew teams to achieve on‑time departures.
Shift Flexibility: Adapt to rotating schedules, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holiday assignments.


Essential Qualifications

U.S. citizenship or valid, unrestricted authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship available).
High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required.
Ability to lift and maneuver loads of up to 70 lb, with frequent handling of 40–50 lb items on elevated surfaces.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, climb, twist, bend, and crouch for extended periods in varied weather conditions.
Valid state driver’s license and the ability to obtain any required airport identification badges.
Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—and the ability to convey information clearly via radio equipment.
Basic understanding of safety protocols and the capacity to react appropriately in emergency situations.


Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in airport ground operations, baggage handling, or related logistics roles.
Certification or training in aircraft marshalling, ground support equipment operation, or hazardous material handling.
Familiarity with arenaflex’s ground‑operations software platforms (or similar systems).
Demonstrated ability to achieve a minimum 90 % score on the Ramp Agent training program and subsequent assessments.
Experience working in fast‑paced, team‑oriented environments where timing and precision are critical.
