Caseload: Diverse K-12 students
Contract Type: 1099
Pay Rate: $54-$59 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
Create and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
Provide engaging virtual speech therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based strategies.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance students educational experiences.
Track and document students' progress, modifying therapy plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Participate in IEP meetings to advocate for students' communication needs and goals.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current SLP-CCC license in New York State.
Minimum of two years of experience working in school settings preferred.
Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and tools is advantageous.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.
