Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative role is the heartbeat of our retail center. You’ll serve as the first point of contact for customers, guiding them through equipment rentals, returns, and maintenance while leveraging cutting‑edge tools such as our smartphone‑based arenaflex Scan technology. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced position that blends customer interaction with practical equipment handling, offering you on‑the‑job training and clear pathways for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers both inside the center and at the curbside, answering questions about rental options, pricing, and service policies.
Technology Utilization: Operate arenaflex Scan tablets and mobile apps to process rentals, returns, and inventory updates quickly and accurately.
Equipment Movement: Safely hook up, relocate, and reposition trucks, trailers, and moving accessories according to customer needs.
Inspection & Maintenance: Conduct thorough visual and mechanical inspections of vehicles and equipment, check fluid levels, and document any issues.
Rental Documentation: Generate rental agreements, process payments, and prepare invoices while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Accessory Installation: Install hitches, trailer wiring, and perform propane fills after completing certification training.
Forklift Operation: Operate a forklift for inventory management after obtaining the required certification.
Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training modules through arenaflex University to stay current on product knowledge, safety procedures, and customer service best practices.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow associates, supervisors, and the management team to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks assigned by management that support the success of the center.


Essential Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help people.
Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, customer‑focused environment.


Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

Previous experience in retail, customer service, or equipment rental.
Basic mechanical aptitude or prior experience with vehicle inspections.
Certification in forklift operation, propane handling, or related safety training (provided if not already held).
Familiarity with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and mobile scanning technology.

Physical Stamina: Capacity to lift and move equipment weighing at least 50 lb, stand for extended periods, and perform outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions.

Technology Savvy: Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and specialized software.
Team Orientation: Collaborative mindset with a willingness to assist teammates.

Physical Demands
The role requires moderate physical exertion, including:
