Occupational Summary Housed within the Graduate Student Programs and Services (GSPS) team, the Pratt PhD Program Coordinator will plan, coordinate and administer student-facing activities centrally for all Pratt PhD programs. Develop, coordinate, and advise on policy related to assigned major programs and collaborate with broader Student Engagement and Support (SES) team within GSPS to deliver an exceptional and supportive PhD student experience. Work Performed In collaboration with the director of SES and the Associate Dean for Doctoral Education, make operational and programmatic decisions that have a significant impact on the successful achievement of PhD program strategies and objectives; develop, coordinate and advise staff regarding program policy and implementation.Design or modify and deliver programs to help PhD students build essential skills, create community, participate in health and wellness activities, and engage with academic and personal resources. Manage these programs by monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative research techniques; investigate trends and recommend and implement modifications to improve program effectiveness.
