Due Diligence Investigator - Remote

As a Due Diligence Investigator at BIA, you’ll dig into companies, conduct interviews, and deliver insights that directly shape investment strategies — all while working fully remote. What You’ll Do • Translate client intelligence needs into clear collection objectives • Build expertise on target companies, sectors, and issues of interest • Identify and interview sources with persistence, discretion, and urgency • Oversee open-source research and synthesize findings • Deliver timely, accurate, and actionable intelligence reports • Conduct intelligence collection with persistence, discretion, and a sense of urgency. • Report intelligence with objectivity, accuracy, timeliness and clarity. • Partner with portfolio managers and analysts to strengthen decision-making • Educate clients on the value of intelligence in the investment process What You Bring • 3–5 years of experience in intelligence collection, due diligence, or related fields • Strong understanding of corporate, technical, and financial issues • Familiarity with company financial reporting, SEC filings; SmartSheet, LexisNexis, Westlaw a plus • Comfortable with outreach and cold calling • Practical experience with the private sector, in one or more industries of interest to the investment community. • Thrive in a fast paced and deadline critical environment • Exceptional writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills • Bachelor’s degree; fluency in a secondary language helpful Why Join BIA? • Competitive salary + benefits (medical, dental, 401k, paid vacation) • Fully remote role with nationwide flexibility • Direct impact on client investment decisions • Collaborative, high-integrity, client-focused culture About BIA Business Intelligence Advisors (BIA) welcomes candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
