ā¢ The Distribution Driver Helper is responsible for assisting delivery drivers with assigned route delivery functions.
ā¢ Primary Responsibilities
ā¢ Deliver products as invoiced to specified licensed retailers+ Check-in invoiced orders with customers in a friendly, courteous manner+ Collect and return all payments as required+ Account for all invoices of merchandise delivered and merchandise returned+ Collect empty boxes to be used for redelivery, as needed+ Ensure delivery logs are completed as required+ Ensure check-in procedures are followed daily+ Attend monthly safety meetings+ Take only safety courses and other classes as needed+ Report all moving violations to management+ Drive equipment in a professional and safe manner, as needed within licensing requirements+ Perform other related duties as assigned
ā¢ Additional Primary Responsibilities
ā¢ Minimum Qualifications
ā¢ 1 years of experience+ Must obtain Class A or B Commercial Driver's License+ Experience in a warehousing environment+ Knowledge of other MS Office Suite and / or software applications related to job functions+ Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical / problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills
ā¢ Physical Demands
ā¢ Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing / keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine+ Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping+ May require occasional lifting / lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 45lbs
