About the position DreamWorks Animation is seeking a Storyboard Revisionist to join their team, responsible for ensuring that storyboards align with the creative ambitions and vision for each episode. This role involves collaborating closely with directors to implement feedback on existing storyboards, ensuring that revisions meet the series' creative goals while adhering to deadlines. Responsibilities • Ensure that storyboards align with creative ambitions, vision, and style for each episode. • Work closely with the Director(s) to discuss objectives of the storyboard revisions, ask questions, clarify notes, and ensure revisions are completed per feedback. • Ensure deadlines are consistently met and communicate progress of work to supervisors and appropriate production staff. Requirements • Strong drawing skills with a demonstrated sense of storytelling, staging, composition, and character acting. • Excellent communication skills. • Proven ability to manage time and meet deadlines. • Working knowledge of Storyboard Pro and/or Photoshop. • Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Nice-to-haves • Some storyboarding and/or revisionist experience working in television animation. • Bachelor degree preferred. • Ability to provide storyboard samples.
