What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As a Document Compliance Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:


Regulatory Research: Conduct thorough research on federal, state, agency, and investor regulations to ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines
Document Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal Document Compliance procedures and provide timely assistance to branches through the Zendesk ticketing system
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve compliance-related issues, escalating matters as necessary to senior analysts or management
Post-Close Audits: Monitor compliance through post-close audits, reviewing results for non-compliance issues, and ensuring application disclosures meet TILA and ECOA deadlines
Project Work: Engage in project work involving internal system updates and testing, collaborating with different departments to validate compliance


What Is Required (Qualifications)

To be successful in this role, you will need:


Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum of 1+ year experience within the mortgage industry and knowledge of the overall consumer mortgage lending process from loan inception through closing
Customer Service: Strong customer service skills and problem-solving experience
Computer Aptitude: Computer aptitude and familiarity with relevant technologies
