Leads approximately 50 production hourly 2nd Shift employees.
Implements process improvements in the area of Safety, Quality, and Productivity at the DeKalb Distribution Centers.
Determines staffing deployments and task prioritizations for the crew.
Support Lean Six Sigma annual cost savings goals and lead 2nd Shift Lean Management System Tier meetings.
Available to work weekends or other shifts as required
Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
High School diploma / GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Three (3) years of combined experience in a Distribution or Manufacturing leadership role in a private, public, government or military environment.
One (1) year of supervisory experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
Experience in leading full-time, part-time, and contingent hourly production employees.
Experience with JDA/DLx, Cybershift, or labor management systems
Skills include the ability to drive change and implement improvement plans for identified areas of improvement.
