About the Role: Leading Remote Canvassing Programs to Success The Distributed Canvass Program Director is a critical leadership position within RFS, responsible for overseeing the execution of innovative remote canvassing programs. This role requires a unique blend of management acumen, technical skills, and a deep understanding of the canvassing landscape. As a Distributed Canvass Program Director, you will be the driving force behind the success of RFS's canvassing initiatives, working closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results. Key Responsibilities: Driving Program Excellence Leadership and Team Management: Lead, coach, and manage the day-to-day activities of project teams, ensuring effective hiring, briefing, and accountability processes. Culture and Growth: Foster an inclusive culture that promotes learning and professional growth for all team members, creating a supportive and dynamic work environment. Project Execution and Performance: Supervise the planning, execution, and performance of each project, focusing on delivering high-quality, cost-efficient results that meet client expectations. Client Engagement and Communication: Maintain close communication and engagement with client stakeholders, working in partnership with RFS leadership to ensure seamless collaboration and exceptional client service. Reporting and Accountability: Ensure adherence to reporting and accountability protocols, delivering up-to-date, actionable data and information to campaign leadership and clients. Adaptability and Flexibility: Undertake additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing project needs and priorities. Qualifications: The Ideal Candidate Profile To excel as a Distributed Canvass Program Director at RFS, you should possess a strong background in management, preferably in a campaign, advocacy, or organizing environment. The ideal candidate will have: 3-5 years of management experience, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and driving program excellence. Highly organized, with the ability to actively manage project goals and operations, multitasking without compromising the quality of work. The capacity to motivate and manage diverse groups of staff, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. The ability and willingness to work a demanding schedule, which can reach 70+ hours per week at peak times, including evenings and weekends. Excellent written, verbal, and facilitation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders. A cell phone and laptop, with familiarity with Google Suite and VAN (preferred). Experience managing in a remote environment (preferred).
