Dispatcher/Manager

Onpoint Dispatch is actively looking to bring on a motivated and experienced dispatcher to join our team. The position is fully remote and currently set for mornings and occasionally weekends. Starting pay is negotiable depending on experience. There will be monthly performance bonuses that are based on performance. We are requiring dispatch experience or experience within the logistics field. Job Description: As a Freight Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and smooth transportation of goods. You will be responsible for coordinating routes, scheduling deliveries, and managing the day-to-day operations of our fleet. Key Responsibilities: • Schedule and coordinate the movement of freight and delivery vehicles. • Communicate with drivers and provide them with routing and load details. • Ensure on-time deliveries and optimize routes to maximize efficiency. • Monitor and track shipments to resolve any issues or delays. • Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities. • Collaborate with the team to address customer inquiries and concerns. • Handle dispatching software and other technology tools efficiently. • Adhere to safety regulations and best practices. Requirements: • Proven experience as a Freight Dispatcher or similar role in the logistics or transportation industry. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. • Proficiency with dispatching software and transportation management systems. • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards. • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. • A high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or transportation is a plus. • Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, including evenings and weekends, if required.
