Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our logistics team. Must Specialize and have experience in dispatching box trucks Responsibilities • Coordinate and schedule transportation activities for freight delivery using GIS and GPS technologies. • Utilize transportation management systems to optimize routes and manage fleet operations effectively. • Monitor shipments and provide real-time updates to clients regarding delivery status. • Analyze data related to logistics and supply chain processes to improve efficiency. • Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including data entry into Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine systems. • Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers via multi-line phone systems. • Ensure compliance with shipping & receiving protocols and fleet management standards. • Provide exceptional customer service through effective phone etiquette and communication skills. Experience • Proven experience in dispatching or logistics roles for Box Trucks • Familiarity with transportation planning, freight operations, and supply chain management is essential. • Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry. • Experience with ELD and HOS regulations • Excellent analysis skills to assess logistical challenges and implement solutions effectively.
