Description
As a Wind River Environmental Dispatcher, you'll be responsible for routing WRE vehicles and ensuring our customers are always serviced with excellence.
Schedule:
ā¢ Saturday through Wednesday 10:30-7pm *** this shift will offer a $1 extra differential
ā¢ -or-
ā¢ Sunday through Thursday 10:30-7pm ** no differential pay
ā¢ Note: there is potential for overtime shifts as available and we require each team member work one holiday shift per year
Rate of Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
Location Requirement: This is a remote role; however, candidates must reside within 25 miles of one of our branch locations in the following states: Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
ā¢ Ability to work a rotating, schedule that will include partial weekends
ā¢ Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision
ā¢ Responsible for working closely with Wind River Environmental customers and technicians to resolve customer, fleet and other issues that occur
ā¢ Must have a passion to service our customers
ā¢ Develop routes and maintain contact with technicians throughout their scheduled hours worked
ā¢ Collaborate with team and management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of our customers
ā¢ Act as a communication liaison and answer incoming calls from the technicians on the road
ā¢ Cultivate strong relationships with the technicians and customers to reduce stress that comes with last minute schedule changes
ā¢ Monitor any sudden route changes or road construction issues and work with technicians to establish new routes for timely service
ā¢ Manage all shift emergencies and dispatch on-call technicians accordingly
ā¢ Perform and complete special projects and meet deadlines, as assigned by the Central Dispatch Supervisors
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
ā¢ Ability to understand instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
ā¢ Ability to read and interpret documents including Company policies and procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, maps and road signs.
ā¢ Ability to speak, cooperate and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and management.
ā¢ Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meet deadlines.
ā¢ Ability to learn and gain expertise in a variety of computer-based systems
ā¢ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
ā¢ Highly detail oriented
ā¢ Ability to learn operating procedures quickly and be able to execute consistently up to standard
ā¢ Foster culture of continuous improvement
ā¢ Willingness to learn the business and to grow with the company
ā¢ Problem-solving skills and desire to think quickly and effectively resolve issues
ā¢ Highly organized individual must have strong aptitude to multi-task in a busy setting
Minimum Education and Experience
ā¢ Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent
ā¢ A minimum of two years' experience route planning or logistics experience
ā¢ Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
