About the Role & Team:

The role of the Casual Regular Disney Event Group (DEG) Resource Coordinator is to support volume fluctuations within the Group Resources support areas. To interface with the Event Operations Event Consultants and Park Event Sales teams as well as Disney Event Group Entertainment, Floral, Photography, Creative Media, Encore, and Park Event Operations to assemble professional event proposals and contracts by using various web-based systems.

The selected candidate will report to the DEG- Entertainment Manager.

This is an hourly Part-time/Casual regular role that supports the DEG - Group Business Support Resources Team.

What You Will Do:


  • Review and monitor Request for Proposal (RFP) requests received through Siebel Activities.
  • Disseminate necessary information to entertainment partners.
  • Create duplicate activities for floral and photography partners.
  • Create Client Opportunities for all RFPs in eR2 for partners to attach orders.
  • Create Operations, Attractions, Food & Beverage and Transportation orders in eR2.
  • Generate pricing reports from eR2 and ensure accuracy for each event requested in RFP.
  • Generate professional Proposals using e-Proposal master templates averaging over 1,500 per year.
  • Create contracts with accurate pricing and appropriate cancellation policies, minimums and legal terms and conditions.
  • Ensure proper use of Disney Nomenclature, copyright and trademarks in all proposals and contracts.


Required Qualifications:


  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other programs as necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, be a highly productive contributor and lead project teams.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and be a team player.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated computer proficiency with Lightyear, In Design, eR2 and basic Content Management for Web Applications.
  • Minimum 2 years event experience.
  • Familiarity with Resort Sales, Event Operation Sales & Services and Park Event Operations.
  • Proven knowledge and experience of WDW Resorts and Theme Parks.


Required Education:


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
