Director/Senior Director, Venture Investment - Biotechnology, Life Sciences or Diagnostics

Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic investment opportunities in the biotechnology, life sciences, and diagnostics sectors Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment targets, including financial analysis, market assessment, and competitive landscape analysis Develop and maintain relationships with key industry players, including entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and corporate partners Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the potential impact of investments on the overall business strategy Monitor and track the performance of existing investments and provide regular updates to senior management Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new investment opportunities Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate potential investments and track portfolio performance Participate in strategic discussions and provide recommendations on investment opportunities to senior leadership Serve as a mentor and coach to junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and other relevant forums to expand the company's visibility in the investment community Contribute to the overall growth and success of the company by actively seeking out new investment opportunities and driving financial returns.
