About the Role
We're seeking an exceptional leader to join our Enterprise product & platform organization as a Director of Technical Program Management (TPM). In this role, you'll leverage your technical expertise and program management skills to drive the development of large-scale products and platforms, focusing on automation, DevOps, and creating a world-class developer experience. You'll not only lead critical programs but also contribute to the growth and development of our TPM discipline, influencing cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead large-scale technical programs with a focus on enterprise platforms, DevOps, automation, and developer experience, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Drive technical discussions with senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations that guide technology-based decisions.
Build and lead a high-performing team of technical program managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Simplify complex technical issues and drive well-informed decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and architects, to identify and mitigate technical risks.
Develop and implement strategies for the TPM practice, enhancing our capabilities and maturity in technical program management.
Embody exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a quantitative approach to decision-making.
Essential Qualifications
At least 7 years of experience in managing technical programs, with a proven track record of success.
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent).
Strong technical background, ideally with experience in building highly scalable platforms, products, or services.
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing.
5+ years of experience in building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing services/architecture, preferably AWS.
5+ years of experience in building and leading experienced TPM teams.
5+ years of experience in building highly scalable mobile products and platforms.
5+ years of experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
Experience in a multi-cloud environment and with DevOps practices.
MBA or Master's Degree in a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
