Key Responsibilities


Drive retention and growth of a large book of business across a given team, achieving company revenue, growth, and retention goals.
Assess, identify, and train talent on their team, assigning account responsibilities and developing account managers into promotional candidates for future positions.
Track expiring client contracts, identify risk, and own the strategic plan for renewal, including pricing and contract negotiation.
Deploy PharMerica's advanced, consultative, and strategic approach to account management, implementing and promoting various corporate initiatives.
Engage with C-Suite, Regional, or Facility leadership to discuss Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews and Pharmacy Optimization Services.
Oversee client issue escalation process, collaborating with key internal partners to elevate high-level issues through the organization for complete resolution.
Monitor team performance on activities, tasks, contacts, and other material events with clients.
Prepare quarterly or semi-annual Book of Business Reviews with Management.
Work with other company disciplines to assure corporate standards are achieved.
Attend client and PharMerica corporate/networking events and conferences.
Conduct job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.


Essential Qualifications


BA/BS degree
5-10 years of previous experience managing a team in a client management, customer service, or client support role, preferably in a healthcare setting or other business-to-business setting.
Ability to present to all levels of management
Excellent time-management skills
Basic computer skills
Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
Outstanding problem-solving skills
Experience in root cause analysis
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Experience working within a team


Preferred Qualifications


MBA degree
Previous experience in a project management and client-facing customer service role
Strong background in administrative management with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines at once
Strong experience in business writing
Related experience in the pharmacy industry

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $110,000 - $125,000 per year. In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, you'll also have access to our employee discount program, 401(k) matching, and tuition reimbursement.
