About the Role: The Director, Sales – Amazon is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving Ubique Group’s sales performance, growth, and profitability in our vendor relationship with Amazon. This position directs the sales teams and supporting operations to execute the organization’s eCommerce sales strategy, strengthen brand presence, and expand market share. You’ll oversee all aspects of the Amazon vendor relationship—from performance optimization and promotional strategy to pricing, forecasting, and assortment planning—while leveraging data, insights, and technology to maximize results. This leader will also collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in marketing, supply chain, and product development to ensure alignment between operational execution and overall business objectives. This leader will also be responsible for managing our relationship with our Amazon Vendor Manager and will direct the activities included in our Amazon Strategic Vendor Support relationship with our Customer Success Manager. Key Responsibilities Establish clear performance goals for the Amazon sales organization and monitor results through analytics, dashboards, and reporting systems. Direct and oversee all sales functions within the Amazon channel, ensuring alignment with Ubique Group’s strategic goals. Develop and implement sales strategies, tools, processes, and initiatives that drive revenue growth and enhance performance. Leverage data insights, customer trends, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities, optimize listings, and improve conversion. Collaborate with internal teams—including Marketing, Finance, and Operations—to identify new product opportunities, promotional initiatives, and channel innovations. Manage account relationships with Amazon to ensure strategic alignment, program compliance, and business development opportunities. Oversee forecasting, inventory planning, and sales reporting to ensure accurate visibility into performance metrics. Evaluate and optimize operational processes to increase efficiency, control costs, and maintain budget adherence. Lead, mentor, and develop the Amazon sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Stay current on Amazon trends, platform updates, and competitive landscape to maintain a leadership position in the marketplace. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required; MBA preferred. 8+ years of sales experience, including 5+ years in eCommerce or marketplace management. (Amazon experience strongly preferred). Proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability in a high-volume, competitive eCommerce environment. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights. Demonstrated success in developing sales strategies and leading cross-functional teams to execute them. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Experience managing budgets, setting KPIs, and overseeing performance evaluations. Location Ubique Group is a remote-first company. Preference will be given to candidates located in or near the greater Seattle Metro Area and/or near a major airport.
