Position Summary
The Director, Revenue Cycle Analytics is a senior leadership role responsible for directing and managing revenue cycle analytics. You will develop, interpret, review, and share data from all phases of the revenue cycle, identifying opportunities for charge capture process improvements and gross revenue optimization. Your expertise will help drive business growth, improve financial performance, and enhance revenue cycle operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and manage revenue cycle analytics efforts, developing and interpreting data to inform business decisions
Identify opportunities for charge capture process improvements and gross revenue optimization
Collaborate with department and executive leaders to resolve revenue management issues and implement process improvements
Develop and implement projects to improve financial and revenue cycle performance outcomes
Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges
Create data reports and metrics to assess all phases of the revenue cycle
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and department heads
Develop and monitor performance standards for CBO operational departments
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including Information Security Policies
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Business from a four-year college or university
10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue management, with a focus on analytics and process improvement
Strong project management and leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel), and Internet/email
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in a related field of study (e.g., Finance, Business Administration)
5-8 years of experience in healthcare revenue management, with a focus on analytics and process improvement
Certifications in revenue cycle management, such as CRCA or CRCM
