Director, Quant Trader - E-Trading Municipal Bonds
**Overview:** We are seeking a senior quant researcher to join our Municipals e-Trading team, focused on automated electronic trading of Municipal bonds. As a Director, Quant Trader - E-Trading Municipal Bonds, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automated trading strategies, including customer, competitor, and market analysis, algorithm design and implementation, and voice trader partnership. **Responsibilities:**
ā¢ Work as part of the interest rates quant team on all aspects of electronic and automatic trading strategy, including customer, competitor, and market analysis, algorithm design and implementation, and voice trader partnership
ā¢ Ensure that the reasoning, thought process, and investigation behind all work is well understood and agreed upon
ā¢ Perform quantitative data analysis, model building, and subsequent optimization of pricing and risk management for the client franchise
ā¢ Supervise algorithm bookrunners, continuous optimization of algo hyperparameters and trading models
ā¢ Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory aspects of the e-trading business
ā¢ *Qualifications:**
ā¢ Relevant analytical and numerate education such as a Bachelor of Science (BSc)/Master of Science (MSc)/Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD) or the equivalent work experience or qualifications
ā¢ Experience in automated market making in flow products is essential, domain-specific knowledge in Municipal bonds is an advantage
ā¢ Excellent presentational skills
ā¢ Strong computing and programming (coding) skills and experience, utilizing programming languages such as KDB/q and Python/R, with algo coding skills desirable (Java or C++)
ā¢ Positive and pragmatic can-do attitude, able to articulate ideas confidently and concisely
